Ivy S. Montano serves as an Associate at Roden Law in the Savannah office. She is a native of Darien, Georgia, and began her legal career focusing on defending the rights of children with a focus in juvenile dependency and delinquency cases. Prior to joining Roden Law, she worked for a large firm handling insurance defense in personal injury and wrongful death matters, which gave her valuable insight into how insurers evaluate claims.
Her litigation approach emphasizes hands-on, strategic representation, with particular focus on premises liability cases and motor vehicle accidents. Notable case results include a $400,000 settlement in a premises liability matter involving unstable shelving, a $355,000 settlement in a motor vehicle accident case where liability was initially contested, and a $250,000 policy limit recovery for a client with a broken nose.
