Troy A. Williams is a dedicated personal injury and workers’ compensation attorney at Roden Law’s Charleston, South Carolina office. He specializes in representing plaintiffs in various personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, animal attacks, premises liability claims, complex negligence issues, cases involving punitive damages, and workers’ compensation claims.
Troy’s primary focus is on protecting the rights of injured parties, ensuring they receive top-tier representation, and maximizing his clients’ potential recoveries through his meticulous and detail-oriented approach.
Before joining Roden Law, Troy defended workers’ compensation claims on behalf of Employers and Insurance Carriers under the South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Act and the Federal Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act. This experience gave him valuable insight into the strategies Insurance Carriers use to limit their exposure, which he now leverages to benefit his clients.
Coming from a family of medical professionals, Troy has a deep understanding of the medical treatments his clients require. He is committed to ensuring that his clients are compensated for their injuries and receive necessary future medical treatments, especially in cases involving permanent disabilities.
Troy earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas Christian University and graduated cum laude from the Charleston School of Law. During law school, he was an active member of the Moot Court Board and the Trial Advocacy Board, competing nationally and earning recognition as the Best Individual Oral Advocate and winner of the Charleston School of Law Moot Court Internal Competition.
Troy resides in Charleston with his wife and son and their beloved German Shepherd. In his free time, he enjoys hiking in the Appalachian Region, biking, and watching the Horned Frogs and Dallas Cowboys football.
