Little River is a historic fishing village of approximately 4,500 residents at the northern tip of the Grand Strand, near the North Carolina border. Once a pirate harbor in the 1700s, today Little River sits at the crossroads of US-17 cross-border traffic and SC Highway 9 — a combination that produces frequent and serious motor vehicle accidents.
The SC-9 and SC-57 intersection near Little River recorded more crashes than any other intersection in Horry County between 2020 and 2024. Grand Strand Health is constructing a new standalone emergency department in Little River to address the growing need. Roden Law serves all of the northern Grand Strand from our Murrells Inlet office. Call (843) 612-1980 for a free consultation.
